IPRA Golden World Awards for Excellence is the most prestigious award in the world of public relations and in 2020 the CTA communication team won it for the campaign Nešto zbilja važno (This truly matters).
Since 1990 IPRA has been awarded by the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), promoting excellence and ethics in public relations. Its significance is confirmed by a jury composed of experts from around the world, including Austria, Bulgaria, Japan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the Philippines, the United Kingdom and the United States, as well by the number and diversity of applications arriving each year.
In the toughest competition with leading communication agencies and global companies, the campaign Nešto zbilja važno won the award in July 2020 in the category of public relations for non-governmental organizations, thus becoming one of only a few campaigns in Croatia and the region to have succeeded in this. IPRA recognized the importance of the CTA team’s campaign, also because of the strong positive changes it has brought to our society and the protection of the basic human rights of its most vulnerable groups. After a ten-year-long struggle of the Parents Association of Children with Special Needs Brački pupoljci through the campaign Nešto zbilja važno the right to legally prescribed free transport for other long-time neglected and vulnerable groups has been granted.
