Companies need this at the moment of their breaking through the next professional limitation, said <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ctakomunikacije.hr\/en\/cta-team\/gordan-turkovic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gordan Turkovi\u0107<\/a>, <\/strong>CTA komunikacije agency CEO and co-owner during a panel held at the conference <em>Komunikacijska izvrsnoST <\/em>organised by <a href=\"https:\/\/split-techcity.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Split Tech City<\/a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;association gathering Split\u2019s IT experts dedicated the month of April to public relations<em>,<\/em> by gathering some of the most familiar names of the national PR scene.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Komunikacijska izvrsnoST - Panel rasprava\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LGg64OsbNf8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Luka \u0160ipi\u0107,<\/strong> <em>Vrh komunikacije<\/em> agency\u2019s owner presented what to take into account when a company or an organisation start an active communication, summing up PR\u2019s basic principles with his lecture called <em>Public relations for beginners.<\/em> He was followed by the<em> Komunikacijski laboratorij<\/em>\u2019s owner <strong>Manuela \u0160ola<\/strong> who discussed women\u2019s position in entrepreneurship and offered her first-hand experience&nbsp;gained through a socially responsible project <em>Rukoplastika<\/em>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Socially responsible campaigns can encourage positive changes&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Even if <a href=\"https:\/\/ctakomunikacije.hr\/en\/campaigns-for-societal-change-and-why-are-they-important\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">socially responsible projects<\/a> always have a&nbsp;positive connotation with the public, the profession of public relations does not. That being the case is a well-known fact to <strong>Mario Aunedi Medek<\/strong>, Croatian Public Relations Association\u2019s president and owner of Media Val agency,&nbsp;<strong>Jerko Trogrli\u0107, <\/strong>CEO of the company VAJT, and <strong>Gordan Turkovi\u0107. <\/strong>Guided by the moderator <strong>Pinija Poljakovi\u0107<\/strong>, WWF Adria\u2019s communication expert, they demistified their profession in the panel called <em>Bez kvalitetne komunikacije nema dobre akcije? \/ Can you get a good action without good communication?<\/em>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With their examples of socially responsible campaigns, they proved that not only can PR initiate actions and encourage positive changes; it is even more important that it actively does!&nbsp; <strong>Gordan Turkovi\u0107 <\/strong>mentioned the campaign <a href=\"https:\/\/ctakomunikacije.hr\/en\/this-truly-matters-as-an-example-of-altruism-and-professional-excellence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Ne\u0161to zbilja va\u017eno<\/em> \/ <em>This truly matters<\/em><\/a>, that he conducted in 2019 with his team, and which succeeded in amending the law in favour of Bra\u010dki pupoljci, thus granting children with disabilities from all Croatian islands free ferry transport and unhindered access to their therapies on land.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ctakomunikacije.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/mini-pr_konferencija-splittechcity-1024x683.webp\" alt=\"Split Tech City\" class=\"wp-image-31104\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Split Tech City<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>People get attached to company values<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This mini-PR conference particularly underlined those segments of PR that can help technological companies and projects develop their business, but it also pointed out the power of employer branding by stating that real power lies in people, who are the true brand of each company, because they jointly create the company\u2019s values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ctakomunikacije.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/mini-pr-konferencija-komunikacijska-izvrsnost-1024x683.webp\" alt=\"mini pr konferencija komunikacijska izvrnost\" class=\"wp-image-31106\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>&nbsp;Gordan Turkovi\u0107, Manuela \u0160ola, Pinija Poljakovi\u0107, Jerko Trogrli\u0107, Mario Aunedi Medek, Luka \u0160ipi\u0107, Romana Ban (Bruno Dubravec \/ Split Tech City)<\/em>&nbsp;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCompanies must project values. People get more attached to that than to anything else. In the past a bean bag in a google office would have been a huge deal, but now the employees get attached to the values these companies give and offer\u201c, underlined Turkovi\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is clear that people are creators of ideas pushing the industry forward, but they also have to be the \u201cglue\u201d pushing forward even the most vulnerable society groups, thus not keeping the knowledge to themselves, but sharing it.
