“In today\u2019s digital age, political campaigns can no longer rely solely on traditional methods. Digital strategies have become a vital tool for shaping public opinion, mobilizing voters, and building political narratives. The ability to reach millions of people in real time with personalized messages has redefined how politicians communicate with the public,” emphasized Gordan Turkovi\u0107<\/a> during the panel discussion “Digital Marketing in Politics: Innovation and Strategy”<\/em> at the KOMferencija in Split<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gordan moderated the panel, joined by Luka Kere\u010din from the Mo\u017eemo! party, Ivan Jozi\u0107 from SDP, and Marijan Pali\u0107 from Atomski Marketing.  The panelists discussed the development of digital campaigns in Croatia, innovations such as AI commentators, the biggest challenges for political candidates in the digital space, and ethical questions related to voter privacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luka Kere\u010din highlighted how the Mo\u017eemo! party has transformed its approach to digital strategy, leveraging tools to stay on top of trends while delivering key messages that resonate with audiences. He also pointed out that each candidate\u2019s uniqueness shapes tailored content strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ivan Jozi\u0107 spoke about their challenges when adapting their strategy after Zoran Milanovi\u0107 entered the parliamentary campaign. He also touched on strategies to engage younger audiences through digital content while adapting to changes in social media algorithms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, Marijan Pali\u0107 focused on progress in data collection and data analysis in Croatian political campaigns. He emphasized ethical concerns regarding the collection of users\u2019 private data and questioned where to draw the line between personalization and privacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The engaging discussion provided the audience with insights into the key challenges and innovations in digital campaigns. It stressed the importance of personalized messaging and adapting to new technologies. The panelists unanimously agreed that advanced data analytics will shape the future of political marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
