This year, our bright Junior Communications Consultant will be a part of the nine-member jury for the sixteenth annual award of the Croatian Association for Public Relations.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Valentina Mezdi\u0107’s<\/strong><\/a> name has appeared on the recently announced list of jury members<\/a> for the 16th Grand PRix, the prestigious award of the Croatian Public Relations Association (HUOJ<\/a>).  Our colleague will be joined on the jury by Alan Bohori\u0107<\/strong> (Head of the Communications Department of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce), Andreja Brati\u0107<\/strong> (senior PR consultant at 404 agency), Igor Crn\u010di\u0107<\/strong> (Managing Partner at agency PRODUKT), Vladimir Preselj<\/strong> (director and board member of Millennium promotions), Kristijan Sedak<\/strong> (Department of Communication of the Croatian Catholic University), Deana Stipanovi\u0107<\/strong> (director of the corporate affairs department in Valamar Riviera), and Ante \u0160alinovi\u0107<\/strong> (Ipsos), under the leadership of jury president Anamarija Hrvoi\u0107 \u0110uri\u0107 <\/strong>(senior advisor at the Manjgura agency). <\/p>\n\n\n\n


Our Vale, as we affectionately call her, has extensive experience in creating and implementing communication strategies, mostly in the pharmaceutical and construction sectors, as well as for non-profit organizations.
She is the winner of several global and international communication awards, including the Grand PRix<\/strong><\/a> of the Croatian Public Relations Association, “Golden World Awards for Excellence<\/strong><\/a>” of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), “Eventiada IPRA Golden World Awards<\/strong>“, “European Excellence Awards<\/strong>” and ” Effie Awards Croatia<\/strong><\/a>“. In 2021, she obtained her master’s degree in communication studies at the Faculty of Croatian Studies, University of Zagreb, majoring in scientific research on mass communication. During her student years, she was a member of the presidency of the Association of Communication and Journalism Students “Komuna” (now USK “Agenda”) and completed the student program at the Academy for Political Development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– I am always motivated by gaining additional experience and finding new ways to broaden my horizons within the communications industry. After several years on the competitive side, it was time for me to switch roles and apply my knowledge as a jury member. Although we have an extensive task ahead of us, I am looking forward to constructive discussions, and the opportunity to gain insight into the thought processes of all the creative minds and strategists involved – says Valentina about her new role, in which she will succeed Gordan Turkovi\u0107<\/a>, Executive Director of CTA communications, who was a member of the jury in 2021. year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you already know, the Grand PRix is not only \u200b\u200ba recognition for public relations specialists, but also a source of motivation for further efforts, innovation and presentation of the public relations profession and the importance of communication in society. An additional value of the award lies in the education and development that come from the exchange of experiences and knowledge through the presentation of communication projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All projects submitted this year will be evaluated by March 17, and the Finalists’ Review will be held remotely, online, on March 24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
