Matko Perić
A Junior Digital Marketing Specialist with extensive experience in marketing and public relations, gained across a professional association, the film industry, and agency environments.
He began his career at the Croatian Association of Communications Agencies (HURA!) as a Project Assistant, where he contributed to content creation and the promotion of the Communication Days of festival and the How2Wow workshop series. He then spent two years as a Copywriter at Hero Factory, developing communication concepts for digital products, including an app that received one of the top awards at the 2019 ZICER Startup Connect incubator.
He also led the student team responsible for the branding and communication strategy of the WISe Career Days at the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, a project that earned the University of Zagreb Rector’s Award.
He later joined Con Film, a regional film distributor, where he worked on marketing and PR activities and managed integrated 360° campaigns for Sony Pictures Entertainment titles, including Napoleon, Bad Boys, Gran Turismo, Spider-Man, and Venom: The Last Dance.
He graduated in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in History and Communication Studies from the Croatian Studies programme at the University of Zagreb. His bachelor’s thesis, titled Julius Caesar Compared with Cicero’s Ideal of Oratory, explored classical rhetoric. He also received the University of Zagreb Rector’s Award for his work on the branding and communication strategy of the WISe Career Days.
