Valentina Mezdić

Junior Communications Consultant at the CTA komunikacije with experience in creating and implementing communication strategies, managing clients, social media, creating diverse content, event management and coordination of communication campaigns in various sectors. 

She began her career at the ForgeBIT agency as a Social Media and Content Manager and their sister company Top Digital Agency as a PR and Digital Channel Specialist. She joined CTA komunikacije in 2019 as a Communications Assistant.

In 2020, as a part of the team working on the This truly matters campaign with Brački pupoljci Association, she won the biggest Croatian public relations award, Grand PRix of the Croatian Public Relations Association (HUOJ), the Golden World Awards for Excellence, the most prestigious PR award worldwide, awarded by International Public Relations Association (IPRA), the Eventiada IPRA GWA as well as two European Excellence Awards and a special jury award among 350 finalists in 60 categories. Valentina was also part of the CTA komunikacije team which won the Grand PRix of the Croatian Public Relations Association (HUOJ) for the second time in 2021 for Trending #HGSS70, the first tweet exhibition in Croatia. The same year, This truly matters campaign was once again recognized, winning the bronze Effie Award Croatia in the category Positive Changes: Common Good – Nonprofit Sector which was introduced that year. In 2022, she lead the CTA komunikacije team that won the golden HUOJ Grand PRix for the 1100 kilometers for 1100 therapies campaign with mountaineers Ranko Dragičević, Daniel Lončar and, once again, Brački pupoljci Association. 

In addition to the agency-related work, she occasionally works as an MC at live events and sings or plays in music ensembles. She spent her university days at the managing board of the Association of Communication and Journalism Students “Commune”, organizing the students’ symposium “Media in a different way” and many charity events. She also completed the student program of the Academy for Political Development (APR). 

She completed her master’s degree in Communication Studies at the Faculty of Croatian Studies at the University of Zagreb in the field of Mass Communication Research.
