Tomislav Metelko is a new addition to the CTA komunikacije team, taking on the role of Head of Digital Marketing Manager. With a strong professional background in the digital media sector, he brings a fresh wave of creativity, unique skills, and value to both the team and existing as well as upcoming clients.
Tomislav began his career in 2016 at the startup TasteAtlas, before transitioning into the media world with the project management team at the Index.hr portal. In its early days, he was responsible for marketing and the development of Index Ads. After Index, he joined Telegram Media Group (TMG) as a community manager for the Telegram.hr portal. In less than four years, he advanced to the position of Director of Digital Subscriptions, where he oversaw the introduction of one of the first digital media subscriptions on the Croatian market. During his time at TMG, Tomislav participated in several internationally awarded native advertising campaigns and, thanks to his design skills, made a significant contribution to the look of the Telegram portal through over 200 illustrations.
From Telegram Media Group, Tomislav moved to RTL Hrvatska. As Head of the Social Media Department, he led a team of around ten people and coordinated a portfolio of numerous channels across various social media platforms, including their advertising and communication strategy creation.
After his time at RTL, and in what he describes as a “small break from corporations,” he ventured into independent work, participating in strategic planning, consulting, and executing digital campaigns for clients from both the private and public sectors. He has experience working on a dozen successful political campaigns for local and parliamentary elections in Croatia, as well as with domestic and international clients from various industries, including sports, IT, and the chemical industry.
Alongside his professional career, Tomislav is active in the community as a member of the Rotary Club Zagreb Lenuci and has participated in organizing numerous small and large charitable projects in Zagreb and beyond. As a passionate Dinamo fan, he has been actively involved in the club’s democratization process and currently serves as Vice President of the Membership Committee of the Executive Board at GNK Dinamo.
In addition to his studies at the Faculty of Law, where he successfully participated in student competitions from Belgrade to London, Tomislav has completed numerous courses and seminars in digital marketing, communications, and management. He is a proud alumnus of the Academy for Political Development and the Hansen Leadership Institute at the University of San Diego, USA.
