„Odvoji, lako je“/Separate, It Is Easy is an informative campaign, aiming to inform citizens about the new waste separation system with semi-underground bins in the city of Split. Although the commercial Separate is only a part of the entire campaign, due to the positive reactions from users, the characters from the video became part of the graffiti scene in Vukovarska Street in Split. The authentic content was also recognized by experts at the Greencajt festival.
In addition to the Separate, It Is Easy campaign, CTA komunikacije also won a Gold award in the ‘Grand PRix for Public Relations of Large Commercial Enterprises’ category for the fire safety campaign “Recklessness is the First Spark”which was designed and executed for the client Hrvatske Šume d.d.
“Up to 90% of fires could be prevented if people paid more attention to their actions in nature. This was the key message that was repeatedly emphasized and achieved record results, both in terms of communication and in the history of Hrvatske Šume. The public listened to the message, and compared to the previous year, 94% more hectares of forest were preserved, and there were 203 fewer fires recorded. Congratulations to all the finalists and winners!” said Valentina Mezdić, Communications Advisor at CTA komunikacije, during the award ceremony.

‘Recklessness is the First Spark’ is an integrated fire prevention campaign implemented during 2023. The main goal was to raise awareness among citizens about their role in preserving forests, property, and hence human lives from the devastating effects of fire. “Prevent a fire before it starts” is an additional message of the campaign, as well as accompanying television spots that cover the most common fire triggers. Their versions were broadcast on television and via radio appeals in Croatian and English, while over 1.2 million video content views were recorded on digital channels. Grand PRix is an award given by the Croatian Public Relations Association since 2007, as the most prestigious award in this field in Croatia. It is awarded in several categories for which organizations submit communication projects, while the winners are decided by a jury consisting of renowned public relations experts working in agencies, the public and private sectors, non-governmental organizations, and higher education institutions.
