There will always be time to make money, but the time and skills you invest to help the most vulnerable groups in our society pro bono are priceless. Communication and marketing experts have specific knowledge that can move things in our communities beyond the status quo, and we are always eager to take on such tasks. I encourage you, even now as students, and later as established PR and marketing consultants, to do the same. Good habits are formed ‘from an early age,’” said Gordan Turković, CEO of CTA komunikacije, during the event “PR Lab: The Art of Campaigns,” organized by the Croatian Academic Community (HAZ) and the student organization “PublikaR” at the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb.
Joined by Veronika Raguž and Jozo Glavaš from MPR agency, and Ivana Biošić from Reborn Communications Agency, Gordan participated in presenting some of the most successful Croatian communication campaigns. He represented CTA komunikacije with case studies for “This Truly Matters,” the Tweet Exhibition “HGSS70,” and “Separate, It’s Easy“, all campaigns that have earned the agency numerous national and international awards.
“For some of these campaigns, we were told that achieving our goals was impossible, but we still found creative solutions that, I believe, surprised even the biggest skeptics. In a time when almost everything has already been seen, and it’s hard to stay original, the CTA team delivered truly memorable solutions that made a lasting impact on our society and the industry,” concluded Gordan at the end of his presentation.
The program also included a workshop segment, where the speakers tasked participants with developing their own product and promotion strategy. This gave attendees the chance to hear firsthand feedback on their ideas from experienced communication experts and receive valuable advice on what to consider when developing a strategy for a successful campaign.
