Internships are an essential part of professional growth and the student journey, which makes showcasing the best campaigns from Croatia and the region a crucial addition to a modern university textbook like “Marketinška komunikacija.” We’re especially excited that the authors invited us to present the campaign “Separate it’s easy” as part of the chapter on the role of digital marketing in communications. “I hope this project will inspire young talents to see that even seemingly mundane topics – like promoting a new type of waste container – can become genuinely engaging and effective projects,” highlighted Gordan Turković.
The textbook “Marketinška komunikacija”, authored by Ana Tkalac Verčić, Ružica Brečić, and Anja Špoljarić, is the first university marketing guide in Croatia in 20 years, co-published by the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb and the Croatian Association of Advertising Agencies (HURA!). In addition to theoretical approaches and contemporary marketing strategies, the book presents real-life campaigns. Alongside our campaign Separate, it’s easy, readers can explore other award-winning projects from agencies across different sectors of the communications industry.
The campaign aimed to promote a new waste separation system using semi-underground containers in Split. While the Separate spot is just one part of the content, its characters became part of Split’s graffiti scene on Vukovarska Street due to positive audience reactions. The authenticity and creativity of the content were also recognized by experts at the Greencajt Festival.
The fully integrated campaign stood out for its original idea and the seamless connection of online and offline elements. The CTA komunikacije team, working with Čistoća d.o.o. Split, earned numerous domestic and international awards: HUOJ Grand PRix, BalCannes, MIXX Awards Croatia, IPRA Golden World Awards, IdejaX, and SoMo Borac.
