Together with our client Čistoća d.o.o. Split we won the regional award for digital works – SoMo Borac in the SoMo Content category!
“We are extremely pleased that we have managed to make socially important topic of waste separation popular in a fun and educational way, as well as all-age groups appropriate. The task was not easy, but the video, which we made in collaboration with the Split rapper Vojko V, has become a hit outside of Split and has made it to the national news. This is the first SoMo Borac award for our client on this project, Čistoća Split, as well as for our agency. We thank the expert jury and congratulate the other winners who submitted really great digital marketing campaigns from Croatia and the region“, said Petar Tanta, CTA komunikacije CEO, on the occasion of the award ceremony, which took place last weekend at Tvornica kulture in Zagreb as part of the SoMo Borac powered by Httpool conference.
‘Separate, it’s easy’ is an information campaign aimed at informing citizens about the new system of separating waste into semi-underground containers in the city of Split. As for the main content of the campaign, we decided on an unexpected selection and creation of content in collaboration with the Split-born rapper Vojko V, and the song ‘Odvoji, razdvoji’ was created. The citizens of Split accepted it as original content on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, and it soon became a hit outside of Split. In just three and a half months, it has gone beyond its small digital advertising budget and become national news. Although the video Odvoji, razdvoji is only a part of the campaign’s entire content, due to positive user reactions, the characters from the video became part of Split’s graffiti scene in Vukovarska street, and the authenticity of the content was highlighted by experts at the Greencajt festival.
Everyone was humming about the importance of semi-underground containers; thus, we have achieved our goal – the socially important topic of waste separation does not leave the ear and educate citizens on how best to solve the quarrel between Škartoc, Boca, Limenka and Kesa.

Nina Sivić-Cug, Lara Paša, Ana-Marija Crnica Živković, Hana Kajari, Petar Tanta, Marin Zdelar and Gordan Turković have worked on the awarded content, according to the concept and strategy of the CTA team, Vojko V worked on the text and music, the animation was done by Sara Bernat, the design by 2Dizajnera, while the camera and the production are the work of DD Video Lab.
