“The most important tool for a successful campaign and positive outcome is strategy, but also clarity and conciseness in your message. If someone can grasp your message from a single sentence, you’re already ahead,” emphasized Gordan Turković, co-owner of CTA komunikacije at the regional conference PR Days.
This year’s theme, “Outside of the Box,” focused on changes in marketing and public relations, as well as the latest trends in the world of communications. Among the speakers was Gordan Turković, who presented his ideas and experiences for the third time at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade.

In his lecture titled “Achieving Impossible Goals Through Communication,” he demonstrated how to harness the power of communication to achieve even the most challenging objectives. As part of this, he mentioned two projects successfully executed with a budget of 0 kuna: the first Croatian exhibition of tweets “Trending #HGSS70,” dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service, and the campaign “This Truely Matters,” which brilliantly illustrates how the knowledge of communication experts can assist the most vulnerable members of society. He also highlighted the significance and impact of social media, which made this campaign viral in a short period.
“The essence of PR is creating stories that spread organically and are shared, encouraging people to engage, regardless of the budget available,” concluded Gordan.

Students responded positively to the presented ideas, and we hope to see more campaigns that will encourage positive social change. Through his campaign examples, including changing laws without financial resources, Gordan Turković proved that with knowledge and responsible individuals, even the impossible becomes possible.
