Instagram is a platform that requires aesthetically beautiful and attractive posts, so it would be desirable for Stories to look same level to attract the attention of our audience. #1 Setting a background behind a shared Instagram post
Cancer Wound of the Instagram Story. Yes, we do not understand why Instagram did not introduce the option to replace the background when sharing an Instagram post on Story, but there is a solution.
Instructions:
1. Select the post you want to share to Story, click on the share icon and then “Add to Story”
2. Copy the image you want to put in the background or add it using the menu for adding links, music, location, etc.
3. Once you have added a background image, drop the post you have shared to the bottom of the screen
4. Spread the wallpaper image across the entire screen, but leave space at the bottom so you can click on the post
5. When you click on the post, it will move to the foreground, then you can move it to where you want it to be on the Story
6. Save such a Story to your device by clicking on the three dots and “Save”
7. Exit the Story editing, go back to the post you want to share on the Story and add it to the Story as number 1
8. It is best to spread the post across the entire screen so that it is clickable and at the end add the image you have saved to the device on top of everything
#2 Changing the colour of the location
By default, the location button can change to four colours – purple, transparent, colourful and black. Sometimes none of the offered variants suits us, especially if we want Story to be aesthetically appealing and look premium. You can change the location button to any colour from the palette in the Story editor or according to the colour of the photo you want to share. Here is how:
Instructions:
1. When you add a photo to your Story that you want to share, click on the text entry and type the name of the location (e.g. Zagreb)
2. Then, in the bottom right corner, click on “Location” and search for the location you previously entered manually (Zagreb)
3. When you select a location, the location button will appear on the Story, as well as the previously typed location name in text form
4. Now you can change the colour to change the colour of the text normally
5. When you select the desired colour, delete the text you typed, and the location in the desired colour will remain
#3 Adding @ profile tags after posting a Story
We all found ourselves in that awkward situation when we published a Story, and we did not tag a person or brand so that they could repost. Although until recently it was impossible to do anything about it except delete and republish the Story, now it is possible. Follow the simple steps below.
Instructions:
1. Open the Story where you need to add a tag and click on “More” (three dots in the bottom right corner)
2. Next, click on “Add Mentions” and select the profile you want to tag
#4 Gradient effect on text
Instructions:
1. Add the text you want to the Story and tag it in its entirety
2. Click on the colour change and long hold on one colour for the palette to appear
3. Start from the end of the text – move your right finger according to the colour you want to change and at the same time move letter by letter with your left finger until you reach the last or first letter in the text
4. At the end, you press the checkmark or “Done”
#5 Unlock a new font
