Memorable campaigns are created at the intersection of good ideas and trust

‘The path to memorable campaigns leads is made of stepping out of your own and your client’s comfort zone and finding the courage to try to implement ideas that others tell you might not work. We have heard this many times, even when we were starting our own company five and a half years ago. Some predicted a short lifespan and a lack of work, but years later we are still here talking to you about the great projects the CTA team has worked on, the domestic and international awards we have won for our work, and the company that is no longer a two-person start-up, but a relevant factor in the Croatian and regional marketing sky,’ aid Gordan Turković  todayduring his presentation at the longest-running regional student conference on communications and marketing PR Days at the Faculty of Political Sciences (FPN) in Belgrade.

The PR Team of FPN has traditionally invited Gordan to this event for several years, and this year they invited Petar Tanta who bring them the latest trends from the region and show how successful campaigns are designed. This time, representatives of the CTA team brought stories about award-winning projects through a lecture called “Campaigns to remember” ‘7 marathons in 7 days’, ‘Trending #HGSS70 exhibition’, ‘Recklessness is the first spark’ i “Separate, It Is Easy”, but they also showed how they skilfully used the pre-election period in Croatia as an opportunity to promote the pharmaceutical product Colosal for our client, Pontus Pharma.

“Acquiring knowledge is key in everything we do, so we spent most of our time on analysing and collecting various data from that allow us to further develop our ideas. Our best campaigns were created in collaboration with clients who gave us free rein to do whatever we wanted and implemented things into their communication that they had never used before. For example, the team from HGSS had to have a lot of trust in our cooperation to set up the first tweet exhibition in Croatia and turn the work of an organization that mainly deals with rescue in nature into a cultural event. It is precisely at this intersection of good ideas and mutual trust between the agency and the client that memorable campaigns are created,” concluded Petar Tanta in his part of the presentation.

As is usually the case, the lecture was followed by a series of questions from students. They were interested in how Petar and Gordan ended up in this profession, the use of the latest AI tools, trends on social networks, experience working with influencers, opinions on the future of TikTok, but also the possibilities of doing an internship at CTA komunikacije and Croatia. All in all, another pleasant experience from PR Days and thanks to the organizers for inviting representatives of the CTA team again.
